This year has tested Los Angeles in ways we could never have imagined  — devastating fires, rising costs, and a sense of uncertainty that touches us all. Yet even in hardship, we’ve witnessed how art brings light, comfort, and connection when we need it most. 
LAUNCH LA is dedicated to empowering artists and connecting community through creativity. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we put artists and the community over profits in our pockets. We champion local artists and work to make the arts accessible to all Angelenos through exhibitions, performances, and public programming:
 
  • Our signature event — TARFEST, the free, all-ages art and music festival now entering its 23rd year

 

 

  • Year-round gallery on La Brea Avenue where artists present their work to the public

 

 

  • Pop-up projects where we collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to bring the arts to less traditional venues and underserved areas

 

 

 

 

Each of these programs reflects our mission: to enrich Los Angeles by providing residents with meaningful, thought-provoking cultural experiences and offering artists opportunities to create, share, and inspire.

For over two decades LAUNCH, has helped our city thrive — by keeping our programming free, uplifting local talent, and creating spaces where imagination and empathy flourish. But we can’t do this without you. Your support will help provide appropriate artist compensation, pay for rising rents and production costs and cover increasing insurance and administrative expenses.

Your tax-deductible donation, no matter the amount — $5 or $500 — will make an immediate impact that is deeply appreciated. Every dollar helps us keep art alive, nurture creativity, and remind one another that beauty and compassion are still powerful forces for good in our world.
