"Our Garden show is finally here! Due to Covid-19, we were forced to postpone Garden but we have rolled with the times and have created a virtual Art share! We are so grateful to be able to show this amazing work. Thank you to all the artists for their work and patience.
Gardens have played a key role in the evolution of art from the early 1860s through to the 1920s; With artists from Monet to Matisse being fascinated with them. It is a classic theme our artists have made fresh with new concepts and perspectives.
Monet, the king of garden painters, once said he owed his painting “to flowers”. Gardens gave artists the freedom to break new ground and explore the ever-changing world around them. We hope you enjoy Art Share’s take on a Garden show."
Garden features art by 13 artists from Los Angeles. This year, as we follow the Safer at Home Order to mitigate the impact of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the on-site show at Art Share has been cancelled. In its place, we are happy we could bring a virtual art show to you, and to continue to provide a forum for our 2020 artists, and art patrons!
