LAUNCH Gallery, Merry Karnowsky Gallery and District La Brea, closed out the District La Brea summer block party series with a live painting event Featuring some of LA's top artists : CRAOLA / AXIS / devNgosha / Edward Walton Wilcox / Britt Ehringer + NAMAAK collective / KMNDZ and special guest artist Nunca from Brazil. Each artist created hand painted murals on 10ft x 25ft - 300ft wide wooden barricades, which stretch out over 500 feet along the West side of La Brea Avenue between 1st and 2nd Street.
This Live Painting Event was produced in partnership with TARFEST 2013, a FREE / ALL AGES concert at the La Brea Tar Pits Park that takes place on Saturday, September 21, from 3-9pm.
